Anything Involving “Sabotage” Is Awesome

The Beastie Boys’ video for “Sabotage” is probably one of the defining pieces of entertainment of our generation. The song is already awesome on its own, and the video just took it to another level. Everyone knows it. Everyone loves it. And any reference or use of it is immensely entertaining (like the end ofÂ this Conan bit during the writers’ strike). So I can safely say the following “Galactica” mashup easily eclipses the “Han Solo P.I.” one that was created last year. I pretty much lose it when Adama is pointing at his head.

This is apparently the opening scene for a Channel 4 pilot called The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. Why it’s for British television, I have no clue — I only know that I can’t watch the rest of the episode, and that blows. And I also think this is the only scene with Will Arnett, which is also unfortunate.

Now I just want to watch all of Arrested Development again.

The following is a trailer for Where The Wild Things Are, a Spike Jonze-directed adaptation of the children’s book. You know, I’ve heard about this movie for a while, and so many people seemed to be looking forward to it. I thought it was just because of some Spike Jonze worship or some similar hipster crap. After watching this trailer at work, I decided to finally google the book, and now I feel like an idiot. Granted, I never had any emotional attachment to the book, but I’m pretty sure we (and by we, I mean pampered suburban white kids) all recognize this cover:

But this is about all I remember. Apparently it only contains ten sentences anyway.

I just don’t think much of my childhood was spent reading. I was either playing videogames or playing baseball until I got hit in the face and started crying. That shit was awesome. As is the trailer after the jump:
