I like that you mention The Ghost Writer, too. As you point out, it's a good, smart thriller, and that's something we don't see enough of these days. Regarding your list of movies that you want to see - they're all worth your time, but I'd make sure you see True Grit in the theater soon because of the cinematography. The rest are either already out on blu-ray or don't strike me as must see films on a big screen.
