Glad to hear you loved the book, though. It&#039;s really really fantastic and makes me want to go back and give Blood Meridian another shot.</description>

I actually picked the book up when I first heard of Mortensen being in the movie. I don&#039;t have as much time as I used to when it comes to reading, and as a result don&#039;t really follow news on books, so unfortunately I sometimes don&#039;t hear about some great reads until their movie adaptation is announced. Anyways, I picked up the book, and read it all in one sitting on a rainy night. Absolutely loved it. Never got to see the movie in theatres though, thanks to the goddamn Weinsteins&#039; idea of &quot;distribution,&quot; did you?</description>
