Oh yeah, I forgot about Anderson. Our bullpen is pretty worked over, too, but it’s not like Manuel has had much of a choice so far. I’m not worried about that part of the team.

I just checked their stats and Church is already about 100 points ahead of Francouer in ops for the season, so we’ve got that going for us. I’m hoping that Bobby will play Diaz in right and Church and left and sit Anderson’s sorry arse down, but we’ll see. Bobby is kind of senile and is in full “ruin the bullpen by August” mode right now… We have 3 of the top 6 relievers in appearances so far this season, Bobby’s an IDIOT at how to manage a ‘pen. Don’t get me started on Terry Pendleton as a hitting coach, either…

Watch, Church will turn it around. He’ll OPS .850 for the rest of the season. Especially if he’s platooned. He’s been pretty anemic against lefties.

I’m not so sure you’re helping us- we need a legitimate outfield bat or two in order to put a run together, especially if Philly adds another good starter. You guys certainly didn’t get any better tho, that’s for sure.

Serious question time- is it better to have your season die in early July or have to wait for it to end on the last day of the regular season? Just wondering!
