my wife owns a few Friends seasons on DVD, and I will admit, seasons 3-5 are pretty damn funny. The first season is bad, I think. But the seasons after 5 get sucky as well.

The Office is NOT similar to Friends, at all.

I have the same problem as you do, but I always get the song "It's raining men" when I am pumping myself up in the gym.

The Office has not dropped in quality. I will not accept that. Period.

But that's a little off topic.

When I get a song in my head, I make up words that sound similar. Don't know why, but it's just something I do. For example, the Friends theme sounds like this in my head:

I'll eat hair for you,
When grenades start to fall
I'll eat hair for you,
You'd eat hair for me toooo

Also, there's this exceeeedingly annoying commercial for Subway where they repeat the lyrics "Five. Five Dollar. Five Dollar Footlong" over and over and over in a horrible sing-song voice. It gets in my brain and won't leave, and makes me sick. The lyrics that repeat in my head are this:

Fire. Fire power. Fire power Football

There are many other examples I could give you. I know the actual lyrics, but the ones repeating in my head are the made up ones. Weird, right?
