Yea, I forgot the "doesn't" in there. I'll definitely agree with your LeBron sentiment. Just the way he handles his image, how he's Jordan's successor at Nike, and obviously, his talent - they all create a guy who will be, and really already is, the face of the NBA.

Kobe has always come off as sort of a prima donna and almost an outsider compared to the rest of the NBA, as he didn't grow up like many of the other players. But like I said, he still has a chance to turn his image around, considering he's still only 29. He truly is the best player in the league, as he actually plays defense, just like Jordan did.

And about Jordan's 50-point streak, he did it in the 86-87 season, only his third in the league. I don't think he had much of a team around him then either.

I think you mean don't have the same respect towards Kobe, but I see what you mean. And yeah, Jordan was a class act. Really nobody has been like him. The person who reminds me most of him right now is LeBron though. He's got that fade away jumper, AND has yet to get in trouble (as far as I know). I think another good guy is Dwayne Wade too. I'd watch both of these guys before I would Kobe. I think Jordan also had more of a team around him when he did 50+ three straight. I definitely think the guy could have done like 10 if he wanted. He was all about the game and I don't think many players are like that anymore. It seems they all come from Miami "The U" University, thugging out the place.

All joking aside, those two comments do bring up good points. The general public doesn't have the same respect towards Kobe as they did with Jordan because he's been accused of rape, Shaq always seemed to get the best of their feuds, and he bashes people in the face.

Meanwhile, Jackson just goes wherever the best player in the league is. Although, Pat Riley isn't much better. The guy quit when he was losing and then came back once the Heat became good just so he could bask in another championship.

The one coach that actually built teams up was Larry Brown...until he met total incompetence in Isiah Thomas, James Dolan, and the Knicks.

On another note, notice how Phil Jackson has never had to really coach. Ever.
